Microboards LightScribe CD-R and DVD-R media is an all-in-one recording and labeling solution for owners of Light-Scribe-enabled burners. After recording content on a Microboards LightScribe CD or DVD, simply flip the disc over and put it back in the drive to burn a custom design directly on the disc’s label-side surface. Because the labels are laser-etched—not printed—there's no ink, no smudging, and no peeling. A thin dye coating on the label side of Microboards LightScribe discs absorbs laser light, which triggers a chemical reaction to give you a quality reproduction of your artwork, text, or photos. Import digital photos and backgrounds from your favorite graphic design software. The same drive laser that records the disc creates the label, providing eye-catching results without the need for a separate disc labeling system. Microboards offers CD-R, DVD-R, and DVD+R LightScribe media with gold backgrounds.
