What audio format and resolution should I send my masters?
Please send lossless files! We can reencode files for an additional fee.
Cassette masters with real-time duplication can be sent 16-bit or 24-bit, at 44.1kHz or
48kHz sample rate.
Cassette masters with high-speed duplication and CD pressing should be sent as as 16-bit
and 44.1kHz lossless files.
Vinyl masters have no limitation to their specs. We recommend sending the files provided
by whoever did your vinyl mastering.
What is the running time limit for a CD?
We can press CDs up to 80-minutes in length. Some older CD player models may have difficulty playing
discs that are over 78-minutes, so a consent form may be required.
Can I receive a test copy with print for approval?
This varies per product. Many of our print orders come with an e-Proof
for your approval before printing. Our cassette duplication quote page
has an option to receive a "test tape" for you to approve the sound
quality of your album. To receive a fully-packaged test run for approval
would require additional custom fees. Please include your request in the
quote form and we will send you back an updated cost.
What's your cancellation policy?
Orders for products not yet manufactured by us may be terminated by either party upon
30 days written notice. The customer will be responsible for all costs incurred
related to pre-manufacturing or manufacturing of any product, prior to receipt of notice of
termination. This includes but not limited to processing fees, PayPal fees, manufacturing, and
administrative labour. After such termination, any completed product may
be delivered to the customer only after all sums owing to Duplication.ca have been paid in full.
What's the procedure if my album contains music or audio samples from other
sources?
If an order contains copyrighted music or audio samples, you will need to sign this Letter of
Idemnity, as well as provide proof of licensing or ownership. If you cannot provide these
documents after payment, the order will be cancelled and a refund will be granted minus the
following: processing fees, PayPal fees, and the accumulated cost of any work already performed.
Can I receive a discount if I'm reordering the same album?
Yes! Discounts are available if an order is reusing the same artwork
or audio. Please include your previous order # in your quote, and
we'll return your quote request with a discounted price.
I have a cassette I would like to use as a master. Do you dub cassettes from a cassette master?
We can dub from a cassette master, though we strongly prefer to dub from digital files. There
are many considerations when dubbing from an analog master, such as empty space, playback and
recording speeds of the deck, and so on. Dubbing from analog masters could be done at an additional
fee, but discouraged.

Do you ship worldwide?
We have no restrictions in terms of shipping locations. Extra charges may
apply for rural areas.
How much would shipping cost for a particular item?
Cassette duplication: standard shipping within the United States and
Canada is included in the price of cassette duplication.

My order was received damaged, or was stolen, or just never arrived!
We do everything we can to manufacture and ready your order as quickly and as safely as possible. We
rely on UPS for the majority of our shipments, and like any other company they are liable to delays
due to weather, unforeseen events, and even sheer volume.
We strongly recommend you choose the UPS Signature option when ordering, which will require a
signature at the door instead of the driver dropping off your package unattended.
If your package arrives damaged or doesn't arrival at all, please inform your sales
representative immediately. We will contact the shipping provider to rectify the issue. You may be
asked to contact the shipping provider as well.
I didn't pick up my package in time, and now it's sent back to Duplication.ca. Can I receive a
refund?
As we are charged by the shipping provider for the cost of returned packages, orders that have been
returned to sender due to lack of pick-up or unpaid fees are not subject to refunds. We can re-ship
the product with an additional shipping fee.
