Standard practice in the printing and graphic design world has always been that hardcopy proofs are required. A colour proof and separation printouts of each printing CMYK and Pantone colour should be supplied by the client and his graphic designer. Colour proofing is expensive so there is always pressure to skip the printouts. But in making these printouts many potential problems and typos can be found and corrected before plates and a thousand copies are made. Don't take a chance by not reviewing hardcopy proofs.

We need a set of proofs for production. You may come to our office and sign off on them or we can send them to you for review and you can return them. You may also order 2 sets of proofs, one for you and one for us, and approve the proofs by email once you have received and reviewed your set. You may also approve electronic proofs but we still need hardcopy proofs for production. To do a proper professional job we need a colour proof and separated proofs.
NB: A laser proof is not accurate for colour matching. A calibrated inkjet proof should be supplied for critical colour. Most jobs are run combined with other jobs so precise colour matching may not be possible.
