Terms, Shipping and Returns

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Orders placed online are not binding until we review and accept the order. The order form you receive online is not an invoice. We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason including errors in the software or stock shortages. Thanks for your understanding.

Coupons
Only one coupon or special offer may be redeemed per item. Coupons are redeemed at the bottom of the first checkout page.

Shipping

Our shop calculates shipping rates for North America based upon your postal code. In order to get an accurate total including shipping and taxes you must proceed to the checkout pages and enter a postal code. In most cases we ship by UPS, Dicom, Fedex Ground, or local couriers. If the courier cannot deliver because your office is closed or you are not home there may be additional shipping fees charged. The courier may leave a tag or call you to arrange pickup or delivery. If a package is returned to us because the courier cannot contact you during business hours, you will be charged an additional shipping fee to reship. Address corrections: A $10 fee applies if you request a change in delivery address.

Free Shipping Offers

If offered, free shipping includes delivery within Canada and the USA to urban areas. We reserve the right to refuse free shipping to remote areas, or to ship by parcel post at your risk. Free shipping is not available on overseas shipments.

Fragile Items

CD jewel boxes and audio cassette cases are very fragile so you can expect some damage when shipping these items. Your other option is to request double-boxing and to pay additional shipping costs to prevent damage. In many cases this additional expense is more than the typical amount of damage.



Residential Deliveries

Deliveries to your home may be left on your porch or in a safe location based upon the driver's discretion. You may be left a note or receive a phone call and you may have to pick up the package at the nearest depot if you were not home when the driver passed. For assured signature delivery there is an additional fee of $2.90 which you must request when placing your order. The shop software cannot know in advance if your address is a home or office, so it is your responsibility to request the signature option if you feel it is necessary. If a package cannot be found, contact the courier immediately to start an investigation. UPS can be reached at 1-800-PICK-UPS and Dicom can be reached at 1-888-GO DICOM.

Canada Post Shipments

We can ship by Parcel Post. Our shop may offer 2KG and 5KG parcel rates. Parcels are shipped without insurance and at your risk.

PO Boxes

Shipments to PO boxes can only be sent by Canada Post or USPS parcel service. There is no signature receipt and no tracking number. These shipments are at your risk.

Taxes

Canadian taxes will be charged according to the shipping address.

Shipping to Canada, Ontario: 13% HST
Shipping to Canada, Alberta: 5% GST
Shipping to Canada, British Columbia: 5% GST

Shipping to Canada, Nova Scotia: 15% HST

Shipping to Canada, North-West Territories: 5% GST
Shipping to Canada, Nunavut: 5% GST

Shipping to Canada, Yukon: 5% GST


Shipping to USA: NO TAX!

We ship to the USA every day by UPS. Transit time is 2 days to NYC and 5 to 7 days to the west coast.
 

  • Ground shipments valued over $200 are subject to an additional brokerage fee of $30. For duplication orders we are able to remove some art and mastering costs to reduce the shipping value.
  • Ground shipments valued over $2500: there is an additional charge of $50 for paperwork and customs brokerage, and you must supply a federal business tax # or your SSN (Social Security Number).
  • Import duties may apply on non-NAFTA goods valued over $200, for example DVD cases which are not made in North America.


 

International Shipments

We ship anywhere in the world by express couriers or the postal service.

You will be responsible for paying import duties and taxes. For example in Europe there is a VAT tax you may have to pay upon reception. This applies on shipments valued over €15 to €20 depending on your country. There may also be duties, customs fees, and disbursement fees.

Small Packet (tm) shipments by Canada Post: This is a service for low-value parcels under 2 KG. There is no tracking number, no compensation for lost parcels, and delivery may take 3 to 10 weeks. These shipments are at your risk.

Reputation: We may refuse international orders based on lack of verifiable reputation. Supply your website, facebook, and other information to help us validate your identity.

Lettermail: Economical postal rates are available only on packages of less than 500 grams and less than 20mm thickness (including mailer).


Returns

There are several categories of products with different return policies:

- FalconMedia Pro Satisfaction Guarantee! If you are not totally satisfied with FalconMedia Pro products, you may exchange any unused and resellable product for equivalent value, within 12 months of your purchase (Blu-ray products may be exchanged at current market value),

- FalconMedia Pro products are fully guaranteed and if proven defective within 12 months of purchase, will be replaced or exchanged for equivalent value. Shipping costs not included.

-  FalconMedia Value and FalconMedia Corporate carry a 30 day replacement or exchange warranty.

- Regular-stock blank media, cases, and sleeves: unopened material in resellable condition may be exchanged for equivalent value within 14 days. You are responsible for all shipping  costs. At our discretion, a refund may be issued with a 15% restocking fee. If we made an order-picking error we will replace the material at our cost.  Cd jewel boxes and audio cassettes cases are very fragile so you can expect some damage when shipping these items. - Special-order and drop-ship items: We will issue an RMA number (return merchandise authorization number) and you must return the goods to the address we give you. A restocking fee of 15% will apply and packaging must be unopened. Please allow 1 week after warehouse reception for credit. Retail brand blank media often comes with "Limited Lifetime Warranty" by the manufacturer - read the packaging material for return instructions.

- Microboards hardware and consumables: We are pleased to assist in troubleshooting any problems you may have with Microboards equipment or consumables purchased from us. Microboards tech support: 952-556-1639 or support@microboards.com

- Custom-manufactured or custom-printed items: no returns except for defects. Defective product will be replaced or refunded, at our option. We must be notified within 7 days of reception.

- Items marked or in categories  Liquidation, Clearance, or Final Sale: No returns or refunds unless the item is not as described..
